A sud del Daghestan, sulla costa del mar Caspio, nell’area di Baku hanno origine i tappeti più noti e ricercati del Caucaso.

Their beauty is as seductive as the variety of their designs based on stars, polygons, plants, flowers, animals, rosettes, smal crosses and hooks, all executed with regular and thickly-placed knots.
They are very fine rugs which are light, supple and with a regular but thick pile. Their colours and designs are an explosion of joy and life which renders happy whoever owns one, because the owner can lose himself in all this beauty, letting himself be drawn along by a dream of distant harmonies enclosed in the splendid frames, humble yet strong, laid out before him.
